Application Updates Regarding New Features - Time Tracking, Payroll, and Member Phone Apps for Android and iOS.
New Feature: Time and Payroll
Time and Payroll provides a comprehensive and integrated Time Keeping and Payroll solution to RhinoFit. Time Keeping easily and intuitively tracks employee work, and the resultant data feeds into the Payroll system. Payroll provides essential Human Resource tools to maintain pertinent employee data as well as a system to calculate gross wages.
New permissions have been added to staff members: “Manage Time Keeping logs and settings” and “Manage Payroll and Human Resources”. The former grants access to general Time Keeping and Time Clock Kiosk administration, and the latter grants access to HR related information for employees, including their meta data like pay rate, and various events that affect employee wages, include commissions, expenses, time off, holidays, and attendance.
Beyond the administrative back end, all staff members will have access to their own time sheets and can directly modify their own time logs while logged into RhinoFit. Furthermore, staff can view their meta data, including commissions, expenses, time off, holidays, and attendance, and can submit expenses, time off requests, and modify their attendance. Time Clock Kiosks can also be created and deployed, creating a central hub whereby employees may clock in and out without needing to sign into the RhinoFit application or their account. These systems are highly customizable, and can be configured to create work flows appropriate for many niche operations, including small or large businesses, single or multi-location operations, and multi-disciplinary or departmentally segmented industries.
Multiple new automations facilitate management by relaying substantive changes and events to members of HR or affected employees. These include event driven notifications upon requests and changes thereof, as well as scheduled notifications relating to potential time clock issues to help reduce, remediate, and eliminate exception items on time sheets.
All related systems were deployed using frameworks released in 2024, providing a modernized user experience throughout. All reports are using an updated 2024 version, facilitating improved displays, sorting, filtering, and exporting of available information. All systems are using new API end points with front-end and back-end security and validation, creating a stable user interface that is robustly protected against potential errors arising from inadvertent data entry.
New Feature: Android and iOS Member Phone Apps
Both Android and iOS have a new “RhinoFit Hub” Member Phone App available. These are modernized, streamlined, and native mobile apps that present a user experience for customers of facilities using the RhinoFit® Gym and Fitness Facility Management Software.
Said facility’s customers (users, members, and students) can do the following:
- Access or check into their facility with the QR code on the Home tab, as well as view club information and their upcoming schedule (including appointments, events, and reservations).
- Browse classes, events, and appointments via a modern user interface on the Calendar tab. (Interaction is limited to 30 days in the past and 60 days in future.)
- View personal contact information, memberships, payment profile, and benchmarks from the Personal tab. Hot links into the RhinoFit application are made available to facilitate editing certain details.
- Share short messages and pictures with other members on The Wall. Posts can be flagged and removed pending review. You may also delete your own messages.
- View details from over a dozen systems on the Reports tab, including access tracking, appointments, attendance, bills, events, memberships, payments, reservations, and various workout statistics.
- Reserve and cancel classes, mark attendance, and register for events on the Home, Calendar, and Report tabs.
Additionally, the Mobile Application can operate with restricted functionality when network connectivity is poor or non-existent. In an event where there is no network connectivity, the app will operate in its offline mode. In this mode, members can still access their facility using their QR Code and see information as it was when it was last available.

- Corrected output of payment amount on Check Status page, which was preventing the processing of refunds when the value met or exceeded $1,000.00.
